Almoxarife Beach

Perhaps the largest bathing site on the island, this long sandy beach provides a fantastic view over Pico Island.

It is the most popular beach on Faial, also providing good accessibility to people with reduced mobility. Since the camping park is nearby, there are also toilets and showers, a bar and restaurants. There is surveillance during the bathing season and this beach has been awarded the blue flag year after year.
